It was 2009. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Magadheera stood as an unprecedented industry hit of Tollywood with all time record world wide collections registered at box office. Apart from spinning money relentlessly at the ticket windows, the film had a marathon run that got the highest number of 50 days, 100 days and 175 days. Even today, some of the records set by Magadheera remained unbreakable.
It was 2011. A top hero's film stood as the biggest blockbuster of the year. However, the film was no way on par with Magadheera's collections. But then, the hero and the producer made the PR team released posters with abnormal fake collections. Besides, the producer proclaimed during the success event of the film that the film had become the number one hit of Tollywood with highest collections. However, mega fans from all areas came up with solid proofs how Magadheera collections were unbreakable. Obviously, the producer had to go hibernation.
It was 2018. Again, mega power star scored an industry hit (non BB) with Rangasthalam. Sadly, another film released in the same year got fake collections imprinted on the wall posters. Interestingly, the film stood just an above average venture at the box office.
This is atrocious. The great work of a team that delivered an industry hit was degraded just with fake poster collections.
Meanwhile, it's learnt that Stylish Star Allu Arjun applied 'Tit for Tat' strategy for those film makers who prefer fake poster collections.
"Some movie lovers do not know whether the collections are fake or real. Whatever the collections printed on the posters are felt real by them. Displaying those collections as proof, fans of heroes too indulge in ugly brawls. To ensure a lesson is taught to those film makers and heroes who encourage fake poster collections, team Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' released a poster that reads 85 crore collections on day one. Naturally, anti fans get a deep shocker with the severe jolt of AVPL team. Mullunu mullu thoney theeyadam ante idey," says a reliable source.
