What’s Rana's Connection To Combat Weapons?

Rana after Nene Raju Nene Mantri following the success of Baahubali is not seen in lead roles in any of the films for quite some time. He only did cameos in NTR biopic, Houseful 4, Ennai Noki Paayum Thota, etc.

However, he hogged the media limelight for most of the year following rumors over his health. It is known that he is starring in Virata Parvam sharing screen presence with Sai Pallavi under the direction of Venu Udugula.

Inside talk is Rana who is playing the role of a cop in the film, insisted on having a police training workshop. Rana insisted on this training though he did few police roles earlier as this role is different and he should sport a new look in the film.

Rana as such will be trained under a top retired cop and the training will commence from the first week of January 2020. Under the training, he will have hands-on experience on rifle shooting, use of combat weapons, sprinting, self-defense techniques and getting the right body language.

Rana recently wrapped up shooting for his role in the Vikarabad forest. As the makers couldn't get permission from the forest department for the night stay there, Rana for ten days had to travel from Hyderabad to Vikarabad which is about 70 km long.
