Vijay's Fighter: 2 Interesting Updates

Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi directed by Puri Jagannadh and that starred Raviteja was a very special film for both the actor and director. Mother sentiment played key role in the film becoming a super hit. Now, Puri is coming up with a similar film with Genex star Vijay Devarakonda.

The film titled Fighter will be made as Pan India film with Puri and Charmi producing it in association with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Like in Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, mother sentiment is said to be crucial in Fighter as well. For the mother role, Ramya Krishna is almost confirmed. As is known, Ramya Krishna is playing mother role in Puri's son Akash's Romantic produced by the dashing director.

And for the female lead, Janhvi Kapoor is zeroed in. After Karan Johar came on board to co-produce the film, Janhvi accepted to be part of it. Most part of the film will be shot in Mumbai and some portions will be canned in USA.
