Rajini's Darbar Trailer Review

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar Telugu theatrical trailer was released on Monday evening. The trailer is packed with Rajini's style of mass, action and romantic elements. 

This is the story of Aditya Arunachalam, the police commissioner of Mumbai city who takes on Mumbai mafia goons despite their dictatorship at underworld. 

Having gone through his films, of late, Rajini appeared to have lost his energy. Contrary to that view, Darbar trailer promises Rajini's energetic performance coupled with his trademark style and action. Given the dilution of romance, action and style, the film appears to be a feast for fans. 

Also, we hear some powerful dialogues from Rajini like, "We live to protect, we die to serve".  As usually, Nagoor Babu lent his voice for Rajini. 

Nayantara sizzles in homely getup in saris while Suniel Shetty is good as villain. Music by Anirudh Ravichandar is loud while the title song is not that catchy. Production values of Lyca Productions are over the top. Santhosh Sivan's cinematography is flawless. It's a Murugadoss's directorial venture.
