And the latest initiative of YS Jagan has even made his critics lauded. The other day, AP government introduced AP Disha Act and got it passed in assembly. According to this act, there would be quick punishments to those men who assault women.
And then, here is an unexpected support to the AP CM from the living legend of Telugu states. Megastar Chiranjeevi lauded the AP government's initiative on women assaults.
"Instead of early justice, an immediate justice is the best solution. As such, AP government's decision is welcomed. Amending the Code of Criminal Procedure, which would take four months time for investigation before, will be brought down to 21 days. Furthermore, setting up of Fast track courts is also a good move," hailed Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi also felt inducting abusive comments against women in social media under IPC act is a remarkable initiative. Chiranjeevi opines imposing severe punishments would refrain the people from sexual abuse, child harassment and usage of filthy language.
