Will RRR Escape From Sye Raa Shock?

People's hearts used to swell while watching patriotic entertainers till sometime back. Patriotic entertainers used to turn out to be a sure shot blockbusters till the 90s. However the scene changed drastically of late.

Genex movie lovers are not showing interest about the Pre Independence era patriotic entertainers. They are slowly getting disconnected to such genre films. To the top of it, with Tollywood filmmakers exaggerating the real life happenings in the lives of the freedom fighters, they are not getting emotionally charged.

There is no denying the fact that Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy fought the British valiantly. But the makers planned to make Sye Raa with Chiranjeevi in the lines of Baahubali and increased the canvas. They showed Narasimha Reddy singlehandedly taking on the ten thousand strong British army and this looked unrealistic. With everything looking artificial, the patriotic and emotional feel went missing completely. The makers should have attempted to show the Narasimha Reddy happenings in a realistic manner.

Now, one can imagine the fantasy narration involving two freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetha Rama Raju in RRR by Rajamouli. It looked odd when Rajamouli told that he is coming up with a fictional entertainer with Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seeta Rama Raju who never met in real life. If Rajamouli shows both of them fighting the British army together, then that’s' it. It is doubtful how viewers will get connected to such fictional theme.

Time has come for Rajamouli not to take his creative freedom to the extremes and get disconnected with the movie lovers and emotions.
