Tenali Ramakrishna Hit for Them!

Sundeep Kishan's Tenalai Ramakrishna, which hit the screens last week, received lukewarm response from the audience and stood as a disaster at the box office. Yet, the film turned out to be a profitable venture for the producers. 

The producers are said to have invested Rs.5 crores on the project. They got Rs.3 crores from Star MAA and Hotstar which acquired satellite rights while another Rs.3 crore were grabbed through Hindi and Tamil dubbing rights. And then, the film has done a theatrical business Rs.4 crores. Altogether, producers got Rs.10 crores back which is a big deal for them. However, distributors who acquired theatrical rights for hefty prices have turned as losers with the film's poor performance. 

Sundeep Kishan and Hansika played the roles of advocates in this film. G Nageswara Reddy is the director.
