They are arrested for cheating promising to convince sensuous actress Shriya to become a judge for a reality show and taking five lakhs in advance. Chaitanya used to work as a reporter in a daily which is now closed. Chandra Naidu, a film director from Banjara Hills made all arrangements to come with a reality show in a channel and felt that Shriya would be apt to be the judge.
When he was trying for Shriya's dates, he came into contact with reporter Chaitanya who at once promised to get the dates of the actress and introduced Lakshmi Sindhuja as her manager. Chandra Naidu gave Rs 5 lakhs advance to them and from then on Chaitanya and Lakshmi Sindhuja disappeared.
Chandra Naidu after numerous failure attempts to contact them has realized that he was cheated, lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police. Police registered complaint and started their investigation. Shriya would be shocked at conmen using her name to cheat people.
