Pawan Kalyan For Hyd Che Guevara Event

One of the first celebrities to extend his support for the upcoming film George Reddy was Power Star Pawan Kalyan after he was impressed with its trailer. Now, he is doing another favor for makers of the film by giving his nod to attend its pre-release event as chief guest.

Yes, Pawan Kalyan will be gracing George Reddy Pre Release Event to be held on 17th of this month in Hyderabad. Venue is yet to be confirmed for now. The film starring Sandeep Madhav as revolutionary student leader is directed by Jeevan Reddy.

George Reddy was a student leader, who founded the PDSU which ruled the roost in the campus of Osmania University during the 1970s. He has worked for the welfare of the poor and fought against the discrimination, minority oppression and human rights at various stages in the university and society.

George Reddy was mainly influenced by the student revolt against the apartheid in South Africa, the Student upsurge in France, the Black Panthers movement in the US, and above all the Vietnamese people's struggle against US imperialism and the peasant uprisings in Naxalbari and Srikakulam. Hence, he was known as the Che Guevara of Hyderabad during those days.

Pawan Kalyan, who is the founder of Janasena Party, idealized guerrilla leader Che Guevara and he often spoke great things of latter during his political campaigns.

Pawan Kalyan who apparently saw Che Guevara in George Reddy is pleased to back this film. Of course, his support is a big boon for the film releasing on 22nd of this month.
