Bunny Respects Director’s Choice

Formal pooja ceremony of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s yet to be titled flick took place today. The film billed to be an action thriller set in the backdrop of sandalwood mafia will be bankrolled by producers of Mythri Movie Makers. Regular shoot of the film commences in December this year.

It is heard that, impressed with S Thaman’s work for Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, Bunny initially recommended the composer’s name for the new film. However, Sukumar’s whose choice always is Devi Sri Prasad was particular about music director of his film. Respecting the director’s choice, Bunny too accepted for it.

In fact, DSP is disappointing of late with routine and not so fascinating tunes. The composer is presently working for Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and the title track that was released few months ago got mediocre response.

The new film marks third time collaboration for Allu Arjun, Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad after Arya and Arya 2. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady. Other details will be unveiled soon.
