Chiranjeevi Back to Back Magic at US BO

Prince Mahesh Babu had good track record at the US box office. Hitherto, some of his flop films also would score well at the US box office. Yet, he hasn't achieved one particular feat.

Numero uno director had to make visual extravaganzas Baahubali and Baahubali 2 to achieve that feat at the US box office. 

And the feat has been achieved by Megastar Chiranjeevi in style with just a normal budget film and with a historical film that had limited commercial elements. Chiranjeevi's comeback films Khaidi Number 150 and Sye Raa Narasimhareddy breached $2M each at the US box office in a row. 

Khaidi Number 150 collected $2.447M at the end of its full run in the USA. And now, his latest offing Sye Raa breached $2M with the early morning shows of its first Sunday. This is said to be non Rajamouli's official record. No one could imagine that Chiranjeevi would mark such a strong comeback in Tollywood. However, Sye Raa has to get steady collections in its long run to reach break even in the US.

Meanwhile, Sye Raa continues its rampage in Telugu states. The film registered a huge Sunday and is all set to breach Rs.70 crores share in Telugu states alone in its first weekend.
