Inside talk is the makers considered the names of many top hot beauties for the all-important role of Lakshmi, dancer lover of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

But all of them rejected the offer on one pretext or the other thinking that it was just an inconsequential role and all the limelight would be on Nayanthara who was shortlisted for the role of Siddamma, wife of Narasimha Reddy.

The makers roped in Tamannaah who readily agreed to do the film. Now after the film release, all those who rejected the role of Lakshmi are now ruing the missed opportunity.

This because Tamannaaah as Lakshmi came with a powerful performance and the impactful scenes on her left all stunned. In fact she got more recognition for her role Lakshmi than the role of Princess Avantika she played in Baahubali.

Even Upasana presented Tamannaah a costly gift for her powerful performance. Rumors floated that since Nayanthara refused to participate in the promotions of Sye Raa, Ram Charan and the makers reduced the length of her role and increased Tamannaah's presence as Lakshmi in Sye Raa.
