Chiranjeevi Deserves National Award: Reasons

Megastar Chiranjeevi's outstanding performance in epic magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimhareddy is being hailed by not only movie lovers but also all sections of the people. Especially, Chiranjeevi is said to have lived in his role, the first freedom fighter of India, Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy in the film. At this juncture, there has been a thoughtful demand from the movie lovers. They demand national award for Chiranjeevi for his performance in the film. Furthermore, they cite following strong reasons how Chiranjeevi deserves for the award. 

* Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy is not just an ordinary patriot. Having done lot of research, Sye Raa team found out that Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy was the first freedom fighter/one of the early freedom fighters who initiated the war of independence against the British. It was also evident that even before the first war of independence in 1857, freedom struggle was launched in India by Narasimhareddy.  This forgotten and unsung story of the first patriot was brought to limelight by Sye Raa team and Chiranjeevi has now made Uyyalawada known in every nook and corner. There is a dire need for national award committee members to confer the best actor award to Chiranjeevi.

* Earlier, a few biopics of the patriots were made in Tollywood. However, most of those leaders previously got great popularity among the people. As such, previous award committees mightn't have awarded to those films and actors owing to that particular reason. Besides, there could be some parameters set for performing in freedom fighters roles. Dramatic and over the board performances would not be apt for patriot roles and those performances are discarded for awards. 

* It is learnt that some jealous people are bringing out the list of some films released in yesteryears and claimed that those films hadn't got the award and so there is no need for Sye Raa film and Chiranjeevi to get a national award. This is really brutal and cruel attitude. Every Telugu person must feel proud and should encourage our films and actors get honours at national level. 

* All in all, Chiranjeevi deserves national award for his outstanding performance in Sye Raa. And now, the ball is in award committee's court. Let's hope they would take a wise decision.
