Big Surprise: It’s Nithin, After Chiru!

Director Surender Reddy has worked with almost all the top stars in Tollywood and his dream of directing Mega Star Chiranjeevi is fulfilling with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a biopic on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, releasing tomorrow.

Impressed with Surender Reddy’s work for Dhruva, Ram Charan gave him the opportunity to direct his dad’s most ambitious project. Charan indeed spent nearly Rs 250 crores on the project which has done remarkable pre-release business.

It is known that, Chiranjeevi signed his next with Koratala Siva and the film will go on floors soon. Speculations are rife with the reports that, Chiru is keen to star in the remake of Malayalam hit Lucifer that starred Mohanlal. The film’s director and actor Prithviraj confirmed the news that Chiru has bought the remake rights.

Now, many wonder, whether Surender Reddy lined up his next yet or not. It is learnt that, the director will next be teaming up with young hero Nithin. Surender Reddy who right now is busy with Sye Raa promotions has been working on a script for Nithin. The project may take off later this year or early in 2020. Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri will produce this film under Mythri Movie Makers banner.

It’s really big surprise that, after directing a star like Chiranjeevi, Surender Reddy preferred work with a young hero like Nithin. Apparently, he feels a young hero will be a right choice for the subject he is working on.
