Rohit Shetty Bags Geetha Govindam

All sections of movie lovers loved the hilarious romantic entertainer Geetha Govindam which turned out to be a sensational hit last year. Genex Star Vijay Devarakonda's innocent performance after his stunningly bold role in Arjun Reddy and Sandalwood seductress Rashmika Mandanna's traditional looks and cute expressions and their onscreen chemistry stole the hearts of all.

For quite some time, efforts are on to take the film to Bollywood. According to the latest, it is coming out that star Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty bagged the remake rights of Geetha Govindam. Buzz is Rohit Shetty may only produce the film as he is currently busy with numerous projects.

However, if need arises he will take the direction mantle too. Rohit Shetty's previous entertainer Simmba which starred Ranveer Singh was also the remake of Telugu hit, Temper which featured Young Tiger NTR. Currently Rohit Shetty is busy directing Akshay Kumar's Suryavanshi while he is producing Satte Pe Satta remake directed by Farhan Akthar.
