Who’s Avoiding Whom: Varun Tej Or Atharvaa?

Director Harish Shankar remade Tamil cult hit Jigarthanda in Telugu as Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Valmiki) with Varun Tej and Atharvaa Murali reprising the roles of Bobby Simha and Siddharth respectively. The film released last Friday to mixed response from critics, though it is turning out to be a commercial hit at box office.

Pooja Hegde who played a brief role and Mirnalini Ravi are taking part in all the promotional events. Brahmanandam who appeared in a cameo also attended pre release and success meets. Interestingly, Atharvaa Murali who played the protagonist is not seen in any promotional events.

Varun Tej praised Atharvaa for his performance in the film. But, many wondered why the Tamil actor is skipping all the events related to Gaddalakonda Ganesh. They question- who’s avoiding whom: Varun Tej or Atharvaa?

Apparently, Harish Shankar and Varun Tej do not want to promote Gaddalakonda Ganesh as a multistarrer. In fact, Atharvaa wouldn’t miss the opportunity to promote himself in Telugu land. If he promotes the film, there will be some buzz on his dubbing films here.

Curiously, none of the film unit is coming up with the clarification on why Atharvaa is missing the movie publicity events.
