King Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana stood as a huge blockbuster and collected a share close to Rs.50 crores then. Kalyan Krishna, the debut director, proved his mettle with his first film itself.
Impressed by Kalyan Krishna's directorial prowess, Nagarjuna gave him nod for yet another project titled Bangarraju, the sequel of SCN. The film could have gone to floors long back and should have been wrapped up by the director.
However, Kalyan Krishna's brother passed away suddenly which made Bangarraju film delayed.
Finally, Bangarraju's pre production activities have picked up the momentum. On the other hand, music director Anup Rubens composed a few songs for the film. The film will go on sets in the month of November. Naga Chaitanya will be seen as Nagarjuna's co-star in this multi-starrer. Ramyakrishna will be seen in a special role. The film will get released for next summer.
