Sukumar Doubtful About Mega Experiment

Few students from Sukumar’s school have already made their directorial debut and few others are ready to wield the mega phone. Buchi Babu Sana, a former protégé of Sukumar is turning director with a new film Uppena which also marks heroic debut of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s nephew and Sai Dharam Tej’s brother- Panja Vaisshnav Tej.

The film titled Uppena is being produced under Mythri Movie Makers with Sukumar presenting it. Tamil star Vijay Sethuathi is playing an important role and Devika Sanjay is the female lead opposite Panja Vaishnav.

We reliably learnt that, Sukumar is doubtful about Uppena’s commercial viability. It is an experimental offbeat film set in the backdrop of a sea. As per a source in the known, the film explores an unknown culture. Even though Devika is aware of the shocking fact about Tej, she still loves him.

Actually, Sukumar is doubtful about the experimental subject getting commercial applause. Though he is said to have warned Buchi Babu to make changes in the script or come up with another story, the first timer is pretty confident about the film impressing audience.

Vaisshnav Tej is playing the role of a fisherman and Devika will be seen as landlord Vijay Sethupathi’s daughter. The film is scheduled for release later his year.
