Did you know? There is a section of mega fans who are reluctant on Megastar Chiranjeevi denouncing politics and to have made a comeback in Tollywood. Contrary to many others opinion, they felt Chiranjeevi as a successful politician.
And true to their view, Megastar achieved some victories in politics. Chiranjeevi led PRP stood as the third biggest political party in 2009's general elections with 72 lakhs votes and 18% vote share (In Andhra and Rayalaseema it was 26%). Also, PRP won 18 MLA seats then. Above all, Chiranjeevi is the one and only personality from Tollywood who rendered his services as a union minister with independent charge.
It seems good days are ahead for Megastar's political fans. As we are aware of the reports that BJP state and national leaders had some serious discussions with Chiranjeevi to get him inducted into the party offering a crucial post.
BJP's leader and former minister Paidikondala Manikyalara Rao said on Friday that the party would tender a grand welcome to Chiranjeevi if the latter would decide to join the party. On the other side, rumours are rife that another BJP leader Somu Veerraju will be gracing Megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday celebrations on August 22. If at all these reports are to be believed, there could be a huge political sensation from Megastar on his birthday. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
