Dil Raju says he is happy that he escaped from disasters by God's grace. Dil Raju who suffered losses with Priyamaina Srivaru, said he backed off feeling that film distribution is tough. He said however Costume Krishna helped him to remake Kannada hit in Telugu as Pelli Pandiri and establish himself as a distributor.
He said even after that he faced tough moments but survived by God's grace escaping from two disasters. He said he gave advance to acquire Venkatesh's Devi Putrudu. He said however producer MS Raju gave the film to another one who offered more price. He said he came out of the project by getting interest for his advance.
He said he dropped at the last minute from Chiranjeevi's Mrugaraju. He said he still experiences nightmares at the thought of his situation had he distributed both Devi Putrudu and Mrugaraju. He said after he became producer, he did not face any such situations.
Dil Raju said however he rues producing Maro Charitra on his banner. He revealed that he did this film for his cousin Niranjan Reddy. He added that the budget which he planned at Rs 5cs doubled to Rs 10crs and he learnt a lesson that he shouldn't do a classic film remake by losing 10crs. He said even he was disappointed with NTR's Ramayya Vastavayya.
