Will Vijay Deverakonda Try Like Pawan?

For any actor to attain star status, he should endear himself to mass movie lovers. As collections play a crucial role in the stardom apart from hits and flops, masses support is vital. 

One can endear to masses only if a film's content is loaded with high voltage mass and commercial elements. However Vijay Devarakonda, genex star, is treading a different line and is trying to attain stardom doing youthful romantic entertainers. 

Though it looks odd, many feel, genex star is treading the path of Power star Pawan Kalyan. Pawan entered the industry with a feel-good love story Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. Though it is a love story with lots of mass elements, the film crossed the hurdle with just pass marks. His next two films turned average but he created a sensation with Tholi Prema and broke all records with Khushi. Both are romantic entertainers and from then on there is no stopping for Power Star. 

Vijay Devarakonda too did not receive much help from his first two outings Nuvvilaa and Yevade Subrahmanyam. However, masses owned him after seeing his powerful and intense performance in Arjun Reddy. He won the hearts of family movie lovers with Geetha Govindam and is now keen to conquer Tollywood with his upcoming entertainer Dear Comrade. 

If the film turns out to be a blockbuster, then his stardom increases tremendously reaching the next level. One has to wait and watch whether Vijay Devarakonda will try mass entertainer similar to Gabbar Singh.
