Bigg Boss Telugu version two seasons completed without much controversies with Young Tiger NTR and Natural Star Nani as hosts. The organizers elated with the success, decided to come with the third season and came with the promos with King Nagarjuna as the host.
When everything was going in a peaceful manner, the organizers got a huge shock when actor Swetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta made shocking allegations on them. They even went ahead and lodged police complaint against the organizers.
In the midst of all this, director Kethireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy approached High Court and filed a PIL seeking directions to stop Bigg Boss 3 accusing that the show should be censored before it gets aired as it is promoting abusive behavior.
Even Osmania University students entered into the controversy and threatened huge protests in front of Nagarjuna's house if the show goes on air. Under these circumstances, many started wondering who is behind the whole controversy and whether this will help the show and the organizers in any manner.
Ever since Nag was announced as the host, many trolled him pulling out his old videos in which he aired his views against the show. Some say Nag agreed to host the show only for the huge remuneration.
Many feel, the controversy may help in getting TRPs but to sustain interest of the viewers, it requires more than the controversies. In fact, controversies at times act in a negative manner and one is not sure in which way the High Court verdict will come.
