Movie lovers can never forget the evergreen performances of actors like Chittor Nagaiah, SVR, ANR, NTR, Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Sobhan Babu, Rajanala,Rao Gopal Rao, Rajanala, Allu Ramalingaiah, Relangi, Ramanareddy, Kannamba, Suryakantam, Bhanumati, Savitri, Jamuna, Krishnakumari and singers like Ghantasala, SP Balasubramaniam and others.

Still people rave about their performances in the ever green classics and blockbusters. Right thinking people always wonder whether Tollywood will ever see actors blessed with the qualities of these legends and bring back their memories.

Till sometime back Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna etc tried to carry that legacy but still had a lot of hard work to do. During the early days NTR, ANR or Ghantasala used to be super happy and encouraged talents like Krishna, Sobhan Babu, SP Balasubramaniam saying they were their heir apparent. People are now losing hope though SVR's grandson made his entry but failed to make even an iota of impression. This because in the competitive world, top stars are becoming more selfish.

Though NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas and others tried their best to carry their legacy, not only they but also many upcoming actors are failing to come anywhere near to the legends.

This because most of them are concentrating on stunts and dances and macho looks completely ignoring acting. Even filmmakers are concentrating on building hype on films using graphics and other technology. This is resulting in acting and story taking a backseat. Unless until this changes, it is difficult to see legends in Tollywood once again.
