It was a pathetic moment. The team, which stood topper in league matches, was bowled out by New Zealand in the most crucial world cup, 2019's semis. Rohit Sharma, who scored five tonnes in league matches, turned irresponsible scoring just one run while skipper Kohli's impetuous batting threw India in neck deep troubles.

Dhoni and Jadeja seemed to be doing an unaccountable feat over 100-run partnership. Yet, they couldn't chase the target which was not actually a mammoth task.

But then, who are the culprits of the great Indian defeat? The sport s analysts are beckoning at Virat Kohli and chief selector MSK Prasad. Although Kohli scored five 50s, he couldn't turned it a century every time. It was felt Dhoni would have been sent early to bat in Indian innings in semis.

On the other hand, selector MSK Prasad's caste bias showed adverse effect on the most talented Telugu player Ambati Rayudu who recently tendered his resignation to all forms of cricket.  MSK selected useless players like Vijay Shankar, Mayank Agarwal etc.

All in all, cricket lovers are not in a position to excuse team India at the moment. The Indian cricket team missed a lifetime golden opportunity to beat New Zealand in the cricket battle.

It's high time MSK sacked and Kohli rested for a couple of matches.
