During his first month's administration as a chief minister, AP CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy took many revolutionary decisions and won the accolades of all sections of people. Increase of pensions, hiking of pay to Asha workers and Municipal scavengers, Amma Vodi scheme, weekly half in police department etc. received overwhelming response from the people.
Though YS Jagan moves super speed at implementing welfare programmes, he is said to have been too slow at one aspect. Initially, it was believed that Jagan would make former CM Chandrababu Naidu fixed on the corruption charges at the earliest.
As of now, YSRCP has got succeeded in demolishing the illegal construction Praja Vedika only. On the other hand, YCP constituted committees to inquire on the corruption done in 30 sectors during TDP's regime. The committees were given six weeks duration to get their reports submitted.
Political analysts felt six weeks duration is too lengthy. "The CM has already wasted one month and constituted committees against TDP's corruption. Had he took action much earlier after assuming power, he would have received reports by now. Whatsoever, YS Jagan should ensure CBN and other TDP leaders corruption reports are received at the earliest so that CBI and ED would start a probe on TDP's corruption smoothly and speedily," wished the analysts.
