She Drank Lot Of Beer, Missed Hit Film

Radhika Apte who endeared herself to Tollywood movie lovers with her performance in Ram Gopal Varma's Raktha Charitra, went on to romance Natasimha Balakrishna in high voltage mass action entertainers Legend and Lion. She even romanced Super Star Rajinikanth in Kabali.

She hogged the media limelight with her controversial comments on top south star and also for her bold and intimate scenes in films like Parched and Phobia. Meanwhile, Radhika Apte revealed that she lost a golden opportunity due to her overweight.

She said she lost the lead role in Shoojit Sarkar's blockbuster film Vicky Donor. Yami Gautam starred in the role for which she got rave reviews.

Making the startling revelation, Radhika Apte shared, "I had gone on a holiday for a month, drank a lot of beer, ate loads of food. I told them that I'll come back and lose it. But they did not want to take a chance."

Radhika is currently starring in Nawazuddin Siddique's Raat Akeli Hai. Her latest film Article 15 hit the screens yesterday.
