Taapsee – Star = Game Over

Taapsee Pannu started her career in South and appeared in a lot of mainstream commercial films before moving to Bollywood where she picked up content-driven movies. Significantly, she mostly starred in female-centric films, since Bollywood filmmakers are not keen to cast her opposite star heroes in the industry.

Taapsee after scoring few hits in Bollywood came up recently with yet another heroine centric film. Although the film received good reviews, it is not performing well at box office in all the languages. Analysts opine that, Taapsee did not have the strong backing like his previous films had.

Her previous films Baby, Pink, Mulk and Badla became super hits, not just because of they had quality content and Taapsee performed exceptionally well, they have presence of Bollywood popular actors like Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.

In case of Game Over, which too received excellent response from critics, the film did not have presence of another notable star other than Taapsee, which is the reason why the film is underperforming at box office.
