Angry Star Rajasekhar is getting ready to surprise with his upcoming entertainer Kalki directed by Prashant Varma of Awe fame. Expectations are increasing after the release of the interesting teaser and trailer.
Movie lovers are waiting eagerly for the film slated for a grand release on June 28. The film stars Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha, Scarlett Wilson and Rahul Ramakrishna in important roles.
Even as Rajasekhar is waiting expectantly to attract with another power-packed performance on screen, rumors are spreading that Kalki is a copied story.
Writer Karthikeya Alias Prasad who worked for Rajasekhar's Mahankali which was shelved is claiming that he narrated the story with the title Kalki to Rajasekhar and even handed him a script copy. He said at that time they expressed their inability to do the project due to high budget.
He said he let it go and started making other attempts. He said however he got a shock when Rajasekhar and Kalki makers changed the story a little bit and completed the film. He said he lodged a complaint against the makers in the writers association. He said he already registered his story in 2009 with the writers association. He alleged that the makers are not even coming for discussions regarding this.
He claimed that producer C Kalan is not bothering about the allegations. Kalki unit is claiming that they acquired Kalki story from a website and sent a link. When the link was clicked nothing appeared.
Kartikeya says he is not after money from the Kalki makers but he needs recognition for his story. Many are wondering why is Kalki makers are avoiding Karthikeya if the story is their own. They can easily solve the issue by showing him the Kalki story rather than play hide and seek game.
