Prince Mahesh Babu's Maharshi created an unexpected and unusual all time record which turned out to be a laughing stock for movie lovers except fans. 

It is a common practice celebrations and success meets are done to blockbuster films. Even if a blockbuster film gets too many celebrations, people get nauseating experience. But then, what if an above average film gets too many celebrations are done by its team? And that is what the case happening here for Prince Mahesh Babu's Maharshi

Ever since Maharshi released, Mahesh Babu and film's team turned hyper reactive in boasting about the film. Mahesh Babu, himself, raised his collar twice in front of public while he continually posted tweets on movie's success. 

Namratha, on the other hand, posted some weekend agriculture pics and it was alleged that some of those pics were fake. Maharshi producers and PR team carried out wall poster collections publicity. Dil Raju has gone to extremity proclaiming that the film collected Rs.30 crores in Nizam area. 

Mahesh Babu's family and director Vamsi Paidipally went to London to watch India and Australia world cup cricket match. That's OK. But then, did you know what the director had done? He posted above pic taken in Oval ground and added the hashtag, "#CelebratingMaharshi'. The movie has already been lifted from theatres and it was not a right platform for publicity. Yet, it happened because it's a Mahesh Babu's film.In the meanwhile, the director was trolled by more than 90% of his Twitter followers for his hashtag. 

A genuine fan never wishes an ordinary hit movie to be promoted to the extreme levels. Maharshi's unwanted all time record is hoped to teach lessons for other film makers and stars.
