Filmmakers Fascination With Hit Songs

Filmmakers take various elements and factors into consideration, before finalizing a film's title. They select titles that are catchy and in sync with the film's storyline and also appeal to all sections and at the same time have a powerful mass appeal.

Sometimes they even get fascinated with super hit songs and use same as titles for their films. For example, Rajendra Prasad came with a hilarious entertainer titled after super hit song Aha Naa Pellanta from evergreen classic Mayabazar.

Similarly Nagarjuna entertained with a romantic entertainer Ravoyi Chandamama, using the song from NTR, ANR's Missamma as the title. Venkatesh used Adavari Matalaku Arthale Verule from Missamma for his film as a title and entertained movie lovers.

Naveen used the song, Naa Hrudayamlo Nidurinche Cheli from ANR, Savitri's Aradhana as the title for his film. Naga Chaitanya used Oka Laila Kosam, hit song from his grandfather ANR's hit film Ramudu Kadu Krishnudu.

Sharwanand used Chiranjeevi's song Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju from his film Rakshasudu as his film title. Naga Chaitanya's Eto Velli Poindi Manasu is the song from his dad Nagarjuna's Ninne Pelladatha. Allari Naresh used Kevvu Keka from Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh and Sai Dharam Tej used Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam from Gabbar Singh as film titles.

Mahesh Babu's Okkadu film song Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is used as title for Naga Chaitanya. Nithin used his own song Chinna Daana Nee Kosam from his film Ishq as his film's title. He used the song Gunde Jaari Gallanthayynide from Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh.

Kamal Haasan's Bhale Bhale Magadivoy hit song from Maro Charitra turned title for Nani's film while Nagarjuna used his father ANR's song Soggade Chinni Naayana from Aasthiparulu as his film's title. Naga Shourya used Chalo from Allu Arjun's song Chal Chalo Chalo from S/O Satyamurthy. Siddharth used song Something Something from his film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana as title for his another film.

Freshly, Mahesh Babu is using Sarileru Neekevvaru song from NTR’s Kanchu Kota as title for his next film with Anil Ravipudi.
