While recently concluded general elections in the country witnessed Modi tsunami, Andhra Pradesh witnessed Jagan's cyclone. While Modi tsunami swept away Rahul Gandhi's Congress and all the so called Mahaghatbandhan and Federal Front leaders, Jagan's cyclone blew away Chandra Babu's TDP and new challenger Power Star PawanKalyan's Janasena.

Jagan's cyclone was so strong that Pawan Kalyan who contested from Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram and dreamed of creating history by entering into the assembly, got a huge shock when he lost from both the constituencies. Janasena won only one seat.

Even the wily old fox Chandra Babu Naidu's TDP got swept by Jagan's cyclone. Many of the ministers lost and it won around just 23 seats. However Natasimha Balakrishna, son of TDP founder NTR stood tall among the ruins.

Though analysts predicted his defeat, Balakrishna surprised all by winning the seat with a majority of 17000. Though he couldn't save his sons in law Nara Lokesh and Sri Bharat from getting defeated in Mangalagiri and Visakhapatnam, many felt that Balakrishna has more firepower than Pawan Kalyan.
