"Perhaps, never even in the history of AP, such a landslide victory has been registered," addressing Ysrcp's loyalists, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said after sweeping the poll battle with a humongous majority.
Yes, what YS Jagan said is absolutely right. Late NTR won the election battles in 1983, 1985 and 1994. TDP won 201, 202 and 216 MLA seats in those elections with a vote share ranging between 44% and 46%.
But then, Ysrcp won 151 MLA seats out of 175 with 86% of winning rate and around 52% vote share. This is a never heard feat by any political party in the history of Andhra Pradesh.
Moreover, Ysrcp swept 23 MP seats among 25 which is yet another feather in YS Jagan's cap.
Meanwhile, YS Jagan will take attend oath taking ceremony as a CM on 30th of May.
