General Poll results of Andhra Pradesh have been out. Though it takes more time to get the results are announced officially, poll trends suggest that YSRCP would win around 150 MLA seats, TDP would win around 25 seats and Janasena may get a big 'ZERO'.
However, TDP appears to have lost everything in these elections. The party's head and its leaders of all constituencies spent thousands of crores. They distributed money between Rs.2000 and Rs.5000 to each voter. Besides, the TDP government spent thousands of crores public money for useless schemes like Pasupu Kunkuma prior to the elections. Above all, the future leader of TDP, Nara Lokesh faced a humiliating defeat in Mangalagiri constituency. His political future fell in a state of dilemma.
On the contrary, Janasena lost nothing with these elections. None of the MLA contestants spent money to get voters support. While most of the MLA contestants just spent in thousands, some more MLA contestants did party's campaign with party's fund. Since Janasena has just made a debut in 2019's elections, ti got good experience in electioneering. Most importantly, the Janasena chief appears to be the one and only powerful opposition leader given problem solving and oratory skills. He will surely stand by people's issues in future quite aggressively. As a result, the ruling YSRCP should be cautious in taking administrative decisions.
