RX 100: One Film Wonders

Rx 100 was one of the biggest hits in low budget films. We still cannot forget Payal Rajput’s explosive bold show, Kartikeya’s powerful performance, Ajay Bhupathi’s direction and Chaitan Bharadwaj’s music. Pilla Raa is one of the biggest chartbusters in recent times. The film will be remade in Tamil and Hindi.

Analysts and movie buffs predicted bright future for the lead cast and the director. But, no one from the film bagged a fancy offer till date. While Payal Rajput is wasting the craze by signing special songs and films opposite senior heroes, there is no clarity about director Ajay Bhupathi’s next directorial, though reports suggest his second film will be with Naga Chaitanya.

On the other hand, Kartikeya will next be seen in a Telugu-Tamil bilingual Hippi which is carrying low buzz, owing to poor response for promotional content. Apparently, there are no takers for the film which is the reason why the film got postponed few times.

Kartikeya signed to play a negative role in Natural Star Nani’s ongoing film Gangleader directed by Vikram Kumar. Some opine that, Kartikeya shouldn’t have accepted to do the film, as he would be offered similar kind of roles.

We need to wait and see whether Kartikeya, Payal and Ajay become one film wonders or they will show power with their next ventures!
