Drugs Scandal: No Relief For Raviteja, Puri!

The officials of Excise Department today clarified that, the probe into the Tollywood drug scandal which created a sensation in the Telugu film industry and politicians is still in progress. They also made it clear that, in this case, none including the film stars were given clean chit.

There have been reports in media that, though 62 people were examined in the drugs case, no action was taken against them and no strong evidences were included in the charge sheet. Reacting to these reports, The Excise Department Officials rubbished them. They condemned the reports of film celebrities given clean chit in the case.

Seven charge sheets were filed till date and in the remaining five cases investigations are continuing, says the officials. “Nobody is given clean chit. We will not leave anyone involved in the case. We will proceed with full evidences,” they inform.

The statement from the officials of Excise Department indicate, there’s no relief for Tollywood celebrities like Raviteja, Puri Jagannath, Charmee, Tarun, Navdeep etc. in the drugs case.
