Maharshi Wows Vice President

Super Star Mahesh Babu's milestone 25th film Maharshi directed by Vamshi Paidipally which released last week is minting money at the box office in Telugu states, though its performance is not up to the mark in USA.

Maharshi team is over the moon and has been celebrating the success in different styles. Mahesh Babu who is overjoyed even raised his collar much to the surprise of all and even postponed his planned holiday to boost Maharshi collections.

The makers too are trying to attract repeat viewers by including the deleted scenes even if it means increasing the film length to over 3 hours. In the midst of all this, Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu who is a known movie buff, watched the film special screening along with his family and showered praises on Maharshi team.

Sharing his feelings, Venkaiah Naidu said, “I happened to watch Maharshi along with my family members. Maharshi with its agricultural and rural backdrop sent a message to the society about the need to support and respect farmers. I congratulate Mahesh Babu who came with realistic performance and director Vamshi Paidipally for captivating direction, producers and also the entire team for reminding the importance of the people in the villages and importance of agriculture."

Mahesh who is thrilled with the Vice President's response thanked him saying, "Sir.. This is such an honour for me personally & our whole team... It can't get better than this. Thank you Sir, your words have inspired us to keep doing more films like "Maharshi".. On behalf of Team Maharshi... humbled, Sir (sic)".
