Much to the surprise of all Manchu Vishnu's upcoming entertainer Voter directed by Karthik Reddy landed in controversy. Shocking reports came that Vishnu demanded a whopping Rs 1.5 crs from the director for using the scenes of his dad Mohan Babu's hit film Assembly Rowdy as per the agreement which Karthik Reddy rubbished it.
Both the parties are now fighting the battle in the court. In the meantime Karthik Reddy came with sensational claims saying that danger bells are ringing for him from Manchu Vishnu.
He said, "What a conspiracy? I was offered just Rs 20 lakhs for story, screenplay, and direction. With that market rate, will I make a film acquiring the rights of Assembly Rowdy for Rs 1.5 crores. Since now I changed my stand and started speaking against him, he may do anything to me. If anything happens to me or if I am not seen in public, Manchu Vishnu is responsible. This is not suited for a hero of his stature.
I signed the film so as not to leave my producer in losses. There is no resemblance between Voter and Assembly Rowdy. I thought since I am sacrificing so much, they would release the film drawing by emotions. However, they in turn cheated me and filed a case against me and torturing the producer. Is this the way a hero should behave? Instead of hero trying to support the film and help in its release, he is stopping the release of his own film. Nowhere in the world you will find such hero. Since I am exposing him, Vishnu may do anything to me. Danger bells are ringing due to Vishnu."
Netizens are wondering what's wrong with Voter and why the makers and the actor is not resolving the issue amicably. Surprisingly, the film is produced by Vishnu's friend.
