Popular Sequel Came To A Halt

Razole beauty Anjali captured the imagination of all with her innocent looks and terrific performance in Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh's multi starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Though she landed in many crazy offers, she couldn't fly high due to her personal problems. Rumours on her affair and marriage too did not help her to reach next level of stardom.

Anjali sometime back attracted with her performance in a hilarious horror entertainer GeethAnjali. She however once again disappeared from the Tollywood screen. She is now getting ready to entertain with a 3D horror flick Lissa 3D which is releasing on May 24.

In the meantime shocking rumours are spreading on her popular sequel. Sometime back Kona Venkat planned a sequel for Anjali's hit film GeethAnjali. Now after of couple of months shoot, the sequel came to a halt.

Sources say producer is unhappy with how things are shaping up under Kona Venkat and he is not keen to take the project forward. The director, who is an NRI from US is said to be shocking with his mediocre directorial skills and entire film unit got a shock after watching the rushes.

To the top of it, rumours on Anjali's marriage once again didn't help the film's career in any manner. Though Anjali rubbished the rumours about her marriage, the damage has been done.
