Mega Star Chiranjeevi enjoys immense following among all sections of the movie lovers in two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi donned many different genre roles to capture the imagination of all and endeared himself to everyone, scoring hits and attaining stardom with sheer hardwork and perseverance.

Chiranjeevi once got shocking advice as a heroine asked him not to imitate. It is known that Chiranjeevi romanced Suhasini in Aradhana directed by Bharati Raja. The film is a remake of Tamil hit  Kadalora Kavithaigal, starring Sathyaraj and Rekha.

Chiranjeevi himself revealed that during the shooting time Suhasini told him 'You have a fan following similar to Super Star Rajinikanth. Do not try to act like Universal Hero Kamal Haasan'.

In Aradhana, Chiranjeevi played the role of innocent and mentally retarded Puli Raju who falls in love with Jennifer (Suhasini).
