T Govt Serious On Maharshi

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s prestigious 25th film Maharshi was granted permission for an extra show in Telangana state. The government, as we said earlier, did not give permission for ticket price hike in the state. However, Maharshi tickets are being sold at hiked prices.
Telangana Government received complaints from various people regarding hike in Maharshi ticket price. Finally, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav reacted on the matter and made it clear that, the government did not give permission for hike in ticket rates.
“Usually, Government will decide on hike in ticket rates. However, management of few theaters are selling tickets at increased prices. We will take legal action against nearly 79 theaters. We will lodge petition in court on this matter. The ticket rates are to be at affordable price for common people,” he said.
This is a big blow for producers and distributors of Maharshi makers!
