The controversy erupted with Prince Mahesh Babu's indirect dig at top director Sukumar is still making news with the hot discussions among netizens. 

While addressing to the huge turnout at the pre release event of Maharshi Mahesh Babu said, "Vamsi waited for me for two long years. But then, some of the directors do not even wait for two months for me and go to other heroes."

Needless to say, Mahesh Babu castigated Sukumar for walking out of proposed project and is readying to work with Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

As a matter of fact, Sukumar waited for Mahesh Babu for almost a year and prepared two scripts. While the first one, which was a periodical entertainer, was bluntly turned down by Mahesh Babu the second project was said neither 'yes' nor 'no' by the Prince.Vexed with Mahesh Babu's ambiguity, Sukumar had to inevitably go to Allu Arjun.

Despite knowing this fact, Mahesh Babu is said to have unnecessarily slung mud on Sukumar. 

De facto, Vamsi Paidipally is just an upcoming director who doesn't have great track record except a super hit film Yevadu. In contrast, Sukumar stands out one of craziest top directors of Tollywood. His latest offing Rangasthalam stood as an industry hit. Top directors needn't wait for heroes for a very long time. Mahesh Babu needs to make out this trade secret.
