Way back, cine lovers would eagerly wait for the release of crazy films' Audio cassettes. Especially, mega fans used to form queues in front of Audio shops to buy the cassettes and so was the same practice was done by other heroes' fans. Producers would hold platinum disc functions to hit albums.

Thereupon, the trend was changed and Audio CDs replaced cassettes. And the trend has further been changed now. Filmmakers are releasing Audio jukebox on internet and they are being received by music lovers quite well.

Until a couple of years ago, all the song were released at once by the producers. However, an innovative trend was kick started by Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback film Khaidi Number 150's team. Instead of releasing all songs at one go, the film's unit released Audio singles with a gap of four days to one week between every song. Much to their amusement, the music album received humongous response which made the film a musical hit as well.

Well, if the first single gets positive response, the same impression falls upon all other songs of the film which  build huge hype on the film. What if the first Audio single gets failed? It leads to the formation of new and unwanted trend in Tollywood at the moment.

Prince Mahesh Babu's Maharshi first single 'Choti choti baatein' received lacklustre response from music lovers. Eventually, all other songs too have received not so great response. 'Padara Padara' song is a good composition. But then, the response on this song is not that great as expected.

Recently, Vinaya Vidheya Rama's songs also got something similar response as Maharshi had. This is the high time the producers stopped releasing Audio singles. Instead, they can release just one best song from the film in the beginning of the promotions and rest all songs should be released at once.
