Maharshi Non-Baahubali Record

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s prestigious 25th film Maharshi is all set for a grand release worldwide on May 9th with premieres in USA and few other centers on 8th. The film, as we reported earlier, did remarkable pre-release business, highest in Mahesh Babu’s career. While theatrical rights were sold for 98.85 Cr, the complete business including digital and other rights fetched 146.35 Cr approximately.

Maharshi will have grand release in other parts of the country as well, other than Telugu states. The film has broken Non-Baahubali record in theatrical business in Odisha where it will have massive release. While Baahubali 2 was sold for Rs 55 lakhs, Maharshi made a business of 45 lakhs. Previous Non-Baahubali record was with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 which was sold for Rs 35 lakhs.

Pooja Hegde, Sonal Chauhan and Allari Naresh are other lead cast in the film directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The film’s pre-release event will be held on May 1st at People’s Plaza in Hyderabad.
