NGK Trailer Review: Lacks Punch!

Tamil Star Suriya had good market in Telugu once. But, owing to consecutive flops, he is now in a situation to prove his mettle once again. Suriya pins all hopes on his next outing NGK which will have simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.

NGK theatrical trailer is unveiled today. Much to the disappointment of Suriya fans, the trailer lacks the punch one would expect from a political thriller. More importantly, it lacks freshness. The trailer is pretty ordinary with outdated story and sluggish narration. However, few dialogues are thought-provoking and Suriya is at usual best. BGM adds to the positives.

Going by the trailer, Suriya plays a youngster named Nanda Gopala Krishna who wishes to bring change in politics. He who is son of a military officer faces ire of senior politicians. Actually, we shouldn’t conclude on the film by just watching a trailer. But, they should have come up with better content as trailer makes great impression on any film.

Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK will hit the screens on May 31st.
