Alia Bhatt Begged For A Role In RRR

SS Rajamouli's upcoming multi starrer Rrr with NTR and Ram Charan is generating tremendous interest among movie lovers as it is the director's first after Baahubali and features Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in important roles.

It is known that many like Nayanthara, Sonam Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Mohan Lal, John Abraham and Sridevi rejected roles in Baahubali when Rajamouli approached them. However Alia Bhatt made a startling revelation that she virtually begged for a role in Rrr.

She said, "I had bumped into Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him that whatever part he has (for me), I will do it. That time he had not yet finalized on leading ladies. He said he was anyway talking about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen."

About learning Telugu, she said, "It is a challenge, yes, I can’t deny that. Telugu is a tough language to learn. But it’s a very expressive language. I want to understand the nuances of the language, why certain words are pronounced the way they are, and what they convey. Only then will I be able to express my character’s feelings."

As is known, Alia Bhatt will be seen in the role of Sita opposite Ram Charan who plays Alluri Seetha Rama Raju in Rrr.
