Vijayashanti Telangana Punches To Mahesh

Writer turned director Anil Ravipudi is an atypical filmmaker who gives utmost importance to female character artists. Starting from his debut directorial Pataas to his last flick F2- Fun & Frustration, all his films have supremacy of lady artists.

Moms taking on sons’ in Pataas to stop a protest, ladies in family attacking vicious husbands in Raja The Great and Annapoorna, Y Vijaya and Pragathi batch dominance over male leads in F2 acknowledge Anil’s reverence on females.

Likewise, Anil Ravipudi’s next film with superstar Mahesh Babu will also have such dominating female role. The director is particular about roping in Vijayashanti for the role. Guess what, he could get the nod from the yesteryear actress to star in the film. So, Vijayashanti is finally making her comeback to films with this yet to be titled flick.

Vijayashanti was actually approached for various projects in last few years. But, she was reluctant to do films, owing to her busy political schedules. The reason for Vijayashanti accepting Mahesh’s film is she liked her character and the subject.

As per an inner source, Vijayashanti has got a commanding role and she will utter dialogues in Telangana slang. “Vijayashanti gaaru has got a terrific role and she will be one of the major attractions. It wil be an eye feast to watch both Mahesh and Vijayashanti together on screen. Their combination scenes will mesmerize audience for sure,” informs the source.

Vijayashanti was last seen in 2006 Telugu film Naayudamma.
