Nandamuri and Nara families appeared to have practised nepotism more than like anything in the general elections. As we all know, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna and his both sons-in-law contested in the poll battle.

According to post poll analyses, Balakrishna and his sons-in-law entered troubled waters in the constituencies where they had contested from.

Balakrishna was elected Hindupur MLA in 2014. However, the Natasimham, couldn't make use of the opportunity to serve Hindupur's locals. There had been many protests against Balakrishna for his disappearance from the constituency. Hitherto, it was also buzzed that Balakrishna was denied MLA ticket by Chandrababu Naidu from the same constituency. Whatsoever, Balayya successfully contested from the same constituency again. But then, ground reports assert a complete negativity on Balakrishna. Balakrishna is said to have been trailing in the constituency.

After a hectic exercise, Nara Lokesh chose Mangalagiri to contest as an MLA. Sadly, he received lukewarm response for his candidature. Moreover, his speeches were treated as great fun by the people.

Balakrishna's younger son-in-law Sri Bharath aspired to be the MP of Vizag. Accordingly, he was given MP ticket with the recommendation of Balayya. With his dismay, former CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana was roped in as the Janasena MP contestant at the eleventh hour. It's now being speculated that Sri Bharath would get either 3rd or 4th place in the constituency.

However, if at all silent voting was recorded in favour of Balakrishna and his sons-in-law, the results will turn in their favour. For time being, it appears to be a mammoth task.
