EC Confirms Repolling in Five Booths

TDP has been agitating against EVMs and VVPATs post the day of elections in AP. Besides, the party has been demanding to conduct re-polling in 618 booths.

However, AP's Election Commission obliged TDP's wish to be fulfilled in just 5 booths. The EC decided to conduct re-polling in 2 booths in Guntur district, 2 booths in Nellore and one in Prakasham.

The date of re-polling will be scheduled in a couple of hours by EC. It is a known news that the counting of elections will be held on May 23.
