Kabir Singh Teaser: No Match To Arjun Reddy

Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey was a path-breaking film in Tollywood and the film made Vijay a most happening star. This critically acclaimed and commercially successful film is being remade in Bollywood as Kabir Singh with the original director Sandeep Reddy Vanga helming it. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are the lead cast.

Kabir Singh teaser has been released today. Sandeep in several occasions stated that he made lot of changes in the script for North audience. But, going by the teaser, it is a frame to frame remake. However, we can’t decide now, just after watching a teaser.

Kabir Singh teaser starts with introduction of Shahid Kapoor as a medical college topper who is now addicted to alcohol. After showing two shades of Shahid as a medico and a doctor with different physical appearances, Kiara is introduced towards the end where Shahid kisses on her cheeks. The background score is used from the original version.

They announced to release trailer of the film soon. Apparently, the trailer will show the bold side of the film, including lip-lock and intimate sequences between Shahid and Kiara.

All in all, Kabir Singh teaser is appealing to those who haven’t watched Arjun Reddy. Though Shahid did his best, we still can’t imagine anybody other than Vijay in the role.
