Conspiracy to stall Ram Gopal Varma's version of NTR Biopic- Lakshmi's Ntr in and around Andhra Pradesh is going on unabated. It is known that AP High Court banned the film release in Andhra Pradesh till the completion of elections in the state on April 11th.
However the film which released across the world last week is getting a good response and even crossed the collections of Natasimha Balakrishna's Mahanayakudu. Now TDP supporters are trying their best to pullout the film from Chennai theatres too.
Efforts are on at various theatres in Tamil Nadu to release the film for namesake and then pull it out. Plans are on to crush the film as chances are there for people from Nellore, Chittoor, Kadapa districts to go to Tamil Nadu and watch the film.
Popular Satyam Complex ahead of the film release displayed booking and even released timings in all news papers. But surprisingly one day ahead, it kept the film screening on hold. While the film is getting screened in 30-90 theatres in all the cities across the country and four shows every day, Tamil Nadu is screening 2-3 shows at odd timings in theatres far from the city.
They are ensuring that Lakshmi's Ntr ads are not displayed in Chennai and Tamil Nadu papers. Few Telugu celebrities having links with the film industry are trying their best to help AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu ensuring that cine goers do not watch Lakshmi's Ntr.
Since polling in AP is on 11 April, plans are on to remove the film getting screened with houseful collections by this Thursday or Friday.
